HOW TO MAKE PURCHASES IN OIALLA’S WEBSHOP
You buy items in the webshop by clicking on the individual product and then clicking "Add to cart". You can always see which items you have in the shopping cart by clicking the shopping cart icon in the right-hand corner of the screen. Once you have all the desired items in the shopping cart, click on "Go to checkout" and here you start the order, which is divided into three steps:
Step 1: You enter your name, e-mail address and postal address (also applicable to pickup orders). If you want delivery to a different address than your own, remove the checkbox in "Send the order to this address" and enter the desired shipping address. When done, click "Accept."
Step 2: Here you choose the delivery method and a delivery price will be displayed. Go to step 3 by pressing "Accept and go to payment".
Step 3: You now get an overview of your order and your desired payment method. Here you can make corrections or return to the store if you want to buy more. If you wish to complete the order, click the "Order and Pay" button.
You are now taken to the payment system, which operates on a secure connection. Here you enter your card details, and when the payment is completed, you will receive an order confirmation.
Once you have completed your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation on your specified email address. When your order has been shipped, you will receive another email with information saying that your order is on its way. We deduct the money from your payment card when your order has been sent.
The purchase is made and accepted once you have clicked the "Order and Pay" button.
Payment can be made with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron and JBC. Please note that NETS charge a transaction fee using the above-mentioned cards. The fee will automatically be added to your order. You have no excess if your card is being abused in an online store that uses SSL. In addition, data encrypted with SSL can only be read by NETS. The money is withdrawn from your payment card once your order has been shipped or when it is ready for pickup.
All prices are daily prices in Danish kroner including 25% VAT. The prices are subject to tax changes and price errors. Any errors and changes cannot be claimed against Oialla.
Delivery costs are based on weight. They are automatically calculated and added to your order in the shopping cart. You will see the costs before you complete your order. Currently, we deliver to addresses in Denmark and in following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and UK.
If you need a shipment to other countries, please contact us, and we will find a solution. We cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries, but will always strive towards a quick delivery. We do not ship COD.
Our chocolate is best stored at 16-20 degrees and does not withstand high temperatures. This is a challenge in summer periods, and may lead to shut down of delivery. Alternatively, you can choose to pick up your order at our address in Copenhagen, Ingerslevsgade 60, 1705 Copenhagen V.
Recording to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, you have 2-year warranty on physical goods purchased in the webshop. The warranty does not include gift cards, tickets for events or catering.
If you want to use your warranty, please send us an email titled "warranty" - then we will set up a case. Remember to attach the original order confirmation to show that you purchased the item from our website.
The warranty means that, as a customer, you can complain about flaws and deficiencies in the product which has occurred within 24 months of the purchase. However, it is a prerequisite that these flaws and deficiencies are not a result of your improper use of the product or other damaging behavior. You must claim warranty within a reasonable time after you have identified the shortcoming. Oialla reimburses reasonable shipping costs that you may have when returning the item as long as the warranty is legitimate.
Normally, there is a 14-day return policy for online purchases. However, this policy does not apply for food products such as chocolate. Thus, Oialla provides a 14-day return policy for non-food items only (books etc.). If you wish to refund a non-food product, please inform us by email and return the product in unused condition and original packaging within 14 days of receipt. It is your responsibility to return the product. Oialla reimburses the original purchase price incl. delivery costs after receipt of the product. Oialla does not cover the return costs. It is your own responsibility that returning goods arrive. Oialla has no responsibility for returned goods that do not arrive.
No personal data registered in relation to your order will be given, sold or made available to third parties at any time. All information is stored in our database and is only available to trusted employees. This information is registered with the sole purpose of delivering your order.
The product information on the website, in brochures and other sales material is subject to errors. Furthermore, we have reservations for incorrect image material. Any errors and changes cannot be claimed against Oialla.
In the event of delivery being prevented or delayed due to force majeure, Oialla is relieved from any liability, and Oialla reserves the right to cancel the order or postpone delivery. Force majeure refers to labor conflicts, blockages, barriers, political unrest, state intervention of any kind, lack of impetus or circumstances beyond Oialla's ability to fulfill delivery obligations.
